Information for New Patients

For the convenience of working patients, we offer appointments on weekdays as early as 8:00 am and as late as 6:30 pm, as well as appointments on Saturday. All patients are seen by appointment only.
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine offered at this Clinic includes:

Directions To Our Office
Taking the Metrorail:
Take Metro's Red Line to the Bethesda Station. The station's escalators come out onto the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Old Georgetown Road. Walk on Old Georgetown Rd. approximately 5 blocks (5-7 minutes) to 7830 Old Georgetown Rd., which is between Cordell and Del Ray Aves. and on the left side.
Driving Directions:
From Baltimore and All Points North of Washington, DC:
Take I-95 south toward Washington, DC. At I-495 (Capital Beltway), head west toward Silver Spring/Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 36 (Old Georgetown Road, MD Rte. 187), heading south for about 2 miles. The office building is on the right side between Del Ray and Cordell Aves.
From Virginia and All Points South of Washington, DC:
Take I-95 north toward Washington, DC. At I-495 (Capital Beltway), head initially north toward Tysons Corner and then continue east toward Bethesda. From the Beltway (I-495), take Exit 36 (Old Georgetown Road, MD Rte. 187), toward Bethesda heading south for about 2 miles. The office building is on the right side between Del Ray and Cordell Aves.
From Silver Spring:4.4 miles:
Take East-West Hwy (MD Rte. 410) going west toward Bethesda. As you approach downtown Bethesda there will be a divide, at which point stay in the right lanes. At Wisconsin Ave., go nearly straight ahead which puts you on Old Georgetown Rd. Go around 5 blocks to the office on the left between Cordell and Del Ray Aves.
Parking
If use the Del Ray Avenue entrance to park in the building garage. The cost is $5.00 per hour, with a maximum of $7.00 per day. There is less expensive nearby parking in a public garage on the other side of Old Georgetown Rd., with entrances on Del Ray and Auburns Sts. The upper levels have meters charging $0.50 per hour. There is also metered parking on the street. Metered parking on the street is free before 9 am and free all day with a valid and current disability sign or license plate. For on-street or public garage parking, you first visit will be 1 hour 30 minutes or 2 hours, be sure to bring several quarters.
Contacting Our Office
Our office is open between 8 AM - 6 PM, Monday -Saturday. Please call us during those hours at 301-908-1703 to schedule or cancel appointments. If you call when we are doing a treatment, our answering machine will be happy to take a message. We will call you back as soon as we finish the treatment.
Scheduling/Canceling Appointments
We treat only one patient at a time. Your appointment represents time set aside especially for you. If unable to keep your appointment, kindly give 24 hours notice.
The Duration of Your Visit
If your are a new patient, please allow 2 hours for the first visit and 1 hour 30 minutes for subsequent visits. For complex or long-standing conditions, treatments may last more than 1 hour 30 minutes. Please keep this in mind when parking at a space with a meter, since the risk of getting a parking ticket is high in downtown Bethesda.
If Your Visit Is After Regular Hours
All the doors in our building are locked after 6:00 pm each weekday and at all times on Saturdays and Sundays. However the Datawatch system enables the front door to be opened 24 hours a day 365 days a year. If your appointment after hours, we shall send your name to our Datawatch system. When you visit us, please pick up the phone to the side of the front door. The Datawatch receptionist will answer the phone and ask you your name and where you would like to go. You should give your name and you will have a appointment with us at the specified time. They will open the door for you. If you can not reach them or if the phone has a problem, please call our office directly (301-908-1703) and we shall open the door for you.
New Patient Form
If you are coming for your initial evaluation, you will need to fill out a detailed
registration and medical history form. If you prefer, please come in 20 minutes before the stated appointment time to allow sufficient time to complete it.
